Networker - Moderator - Coach 


These are the three roles I stand for with my services. In addition, I would like to introduce myself in a bit more detail.

 

Since 2009 I have been working in different roles and leadership positions a research manager within the Fraunhofer-Society, Europe's largest organization for applied research. I work in diverse projects and networks, national and international. Through this role I was able to build a broad set of competences, which I will now also offer as freelance consultant.  I have built teams, lead diverse teams and implemented strategic projects across the organization. I consider myself a globetrotter and I am highly interested in getting to know new places, countries and cultures. What I am inspired and fascinated by is the exchange and collaboration with people from various regions of the world. 

At the same time, I am a full-hearted family father and community servant in our home town Rheinhausen, a village near the city of Freiburg, southern Germany. I appreciate the contemplative and familiar life in our small community. It is important to me to play an active part in the community you live in. Whether it is around our local youth center or within our community council: I am convinced societal engagement is the backbone for social cohesion and resilience of our society.  

I would like to support you with the following competences and respective experience I have gained over the years:

Political Engineering 

  • M.A. in political science, history and conflict sudies in Germany and the U.S.  
  • 16 years of experience in the strategic and political positioning of topics, projects and programs
  • Executive Certificate in Strategy&Innovation, Sloan School of Management, MIT, USA. 
  • Political advocacy for governmental, non-governmental and corporate networks 
  • Negotiation diplomacy in complex projects and business relationships 

 
Moderation und presentation

  • Extensive experience in the moderation of various event formats, large and small
  • Presentations and keynotes in German and Englisch
  • Mastering interactive event and workshop formats

 
Leadership experience

  • Building and leading interdisciplinary teams in the area of applied research
  • Initiating and leading international research networks
  • Leading strategy development processes
  • Creating governance structures for agile project teams 
  • Leading the buildup of innovation networks between corporates, research and end-users
